Guiding
In company with a guide you should reach the top of your mountain in a safer and faster way. At the top you are only half way home. With a guide you will have a safer descent. Most accidents happen when downclimbing. You are perhaps tired and not enough focused after a long day in the mountains. When descending your steps are heavier and your back is towards the mountain. You have to pay extra attention.
It is important that we move efficient as a group. An early start and good progress during the day makes it a safer climb. It assures us a greater margin when it comes to weather and other unpredicted events.
The number of guests on a guided climb will vary from 2 persons if the climb is difficult, and 6 if it is an easy mountain walk. The weather conditions will also be decisive.
